When deleting any item in Geneious Biologics it will be scheduled for deletion in 30 days. This article outlines how to delete documents (results, sequences, folders etc.) and how to restore documents that have been accidentally scheduled for deletion.

How to Delete Items
Items can be deleted by selecting the document (or documents) in the files table and clicking the delete icon:
Folders can be deleted by clicking on the kebab menu (three vertical dots) next to the folder, and selecting Delete Folder:
Upon confirming deletion, the documents or contents of the folder will be moved to the Deleted Items folder.
Deleted Items Folder
Any deleted items (or folders) will appear in the Deleted Items folder in the left-hand navigation panel at the bottom of the Shared Workspace:
Documents and folders will remain available for restoration for 30 days, after which they are permanently deleted.
The "Time Until Deletion" column shows the number of days remaining until the document is deleted.
Restoring Deleted Items
Before 30 days have passed, you can select individual results to be restored when viewing the deleted items folder:
Where do restored items go?
The restored items will reappear in the original folder. If the parent folder was also scheduled for deletion, that folder will be restored too (excluding any non-restored documents in the folder that are still to be deleted).
Can I permanently delete items?
Yes, documents can also be permanently deleted by instead clicking the "Delete Permanently" button to the left of the "Restore" button. Folders can be permanently deleted using the kebab menu (three dots) next to the folder:
What about sharing permissions?
Any items scheduled for deletion will only be viewable by those users that had permission to view the items prior to deletion. When items are restored, the same user permissions for those items will be retained.
